The Big Windows Phone eight Difference: It's Windows

They've finally done it. Previous Windows shopper electronics merchandise have run on special versions of Windows with special kernels and completely different APIs, which means there was no software compatibility with desktop Windows. however Windows Phone eight, revealed last week by Microsoft at an occasion in San Francisco, is truly running Windows.

WP8 relies on a considerable common-code base with Windows eight, the desktop version. The implications are immense: as a result of it's Windows, plenty of Windows software can port with minimal work to Windows Phone. Microsoft created many such examples at the event, the Windows Phone Summit. See the video below.

As several suspected, Windows Phone seven seems to be a bridge from the previous Windows Mobile to the important Windows Phone. WP7 was primarily based on the Windows CE kernel, stylistically almost like Windows, however nowhere close to compatible. All programming on WP7 is completed within the .NET Framework through Silverlight, Microsoft's failed Flash-like atmosphere. the great news is that each one WP7 programs can run on WP8. Why should not they? in spite of everything, .NET runs on Windows, and WP8 is Windows.

But nearly nobody's reaching to wish to put in writing WP7 apps anymore--which, by the by, may be a short-term downside for Microsoft and an enormous short-term downside for Nokia and different handset manufacturers with WP7 apps phones. WP8, like Windows in fact, supports native code apps. the full history of the laptop business shows that developers so much like native apps as a result of they are faster, have access to straightforward high- and low-level APIs, and are higher optimized to the hardware platform. In fact, it gets higher than native code. Microsoft supports a major set of DirectX APIs on WP8. this is often no surprise as a result of DirectX may be a Windows feature and WP8 is Windows.

Microsoft trotted out some game developers and developers of gaming kits to speak regarding how porting code from desktop Windows to WP8 is fairly simple and fast. Obviously, game developers got to go with the platform's comparatively little screen and bit interface, however they're going to be doing that for Windows tablets already. The variations between a game version for a Windows eight pill and a WP8 device ought to be little.

Another fascinating prospect for Windows Phone eight is that the escape from the resolution/aspect ratio jail of phones. One odd characteristic of good phones that has invariably confused me is that the rigidity of screen resolutions and facet ratios. On the iPhone there's precisely one in every of every. WP8 can support 3 resolutions, together with the new 1280 x 768 and 1280 x 720, and 2 slightly completely different facet ratios. Why are they therefore limited? It's as a result of many aged and dumb apps use static bitmaps and would appear as if crap if the system had to squeeze and stretch them to suit the present show. however WP8 provides for and encourages vector graphics; you'll be able to envision a time when handset manufacturers can have a lot of freedom in coming up with displays as a result of it will not matter. Things can work properly on any size --just like on Windows.

Indeed, the compatibility with Windows goes right right down to the device driver layer. there's one hardware driver model across all Windows platforms. Device drivers in all probability are not abundant of a problem in phones, however it's there every now and then.

For years we've had place up with the very fact that good phones exist outside of established networks and management systems and want all new code. Some individuals would say this is often a decent factor, however compatibility is additionally a decent factor. If you are a business of any size, Windows Phone eight goes to be terribly tempting, and if you have got to bribe your users to adopt it you may be creating a wise investment.

Microsoft Ipad : Microsoft Office for iPad Coming in November

Microsoft could be releasing an iOS version of its popular Office suite later this year. A source at BGR echoes previous reports that an Office app for iOS devices is in the works. Microsoft denied last year's rumors, despite leaked photos of the iPad app in action.

The latest information indicates that Microsoft plans to launch the mobile office suite in November. This comes just one month after Apple is widely expected to release the sixth generation iPhone this October. The source at BGR claims to have already seen the Office app running on an iPad.

Microsoft Office for iOS was also leaked in screenshots earlier this year by The Daily. The site claims Microsoft is readying the app for Apple's App Store approval process. The design team has concluded its work on the project, which has an interface similar to Microsoft's current OneNote app.

The app makes it possible to create and edit Excel, Word and PowerPoint files on the iPad. Apple sells its iWork for iOS suite, which includes Keynote, Pages and Numbers. All of these apps are compatible with Microsoft Office files.

Microsoft's Office sales are an important part of the company's desktop software business, generating up to $15 billion in revenues last year. The software remains the most popular office suite, consistently taking over 90 percent of the market.

Bagaimana Cara Setting Modem Speedy ZTE ZXV10 W300S Plus Gambar

Di modem ZTE ZXV10 W300S itu biasanya default setting wirelessnya ada yg belum diaktifkan, coba masuk ke settingan modem di http://192.168.1.1 biasanya user: admin, password: admin (kalau belum diganti) coba cek di menu interface settup -> wireless -> di situ ada option antara lain;
- Access Point …………. pilih Activated
- Broadcast SSID……….pilih Yes
- SSID………………………diisi dengan nama yg diinginkan
- Authentication Type…dipilih saja WPA-PSK
- Pre-Shared Key………diisi dengan password minimal 8 karakter

Save..

Berikut ini beberapa langkah untuk mengamankan jaringan wireless di rumah Anda;

-  Klik Start> Run> ketik ‘cmd’> Klik ‘Enter’
-  Setelah jendela Command Prompt terbuka, ketik  ‘ipconfig / all’dan tekan ‘Enter’
